Hello,
We are David and Leanne. We got our allotment in Stevenage Old Town in April 2015 and are currently in our first season of growing.
This blog documents our progress, from the very beginning, of keeping Plot 14A at Fairview Road Allotments. It includes tales of giant veg, slug woes and unusual recipes. It's very much a case of 'learning on the job' but where possible we will share what we find out and offer any tips we pick up along the way.
If you are an aspiring allotmenteer, we hope this blog will bring you encouragement, or if you are a seasoned gardener, we will be very happy to receive any tips you can offer.
